Joy joined the Association in 2008. She provides technical and training support to Association staff and members of the Risk Management Services programs. Joy is a University of South Carolina graduate with bachelor's degrees in finance and insurance/risk management with a minor in criminal justice. In 2012, she received a master's in business administration from the University of South Carolina. She also received associate designations in risk management for public entities and information technology from the Insurance Institute of America.
