Vernessa joined the Municipal Association in May 2018. Prior to joining the Association, Vernessa began her career as a radio announcer in Columbia and Charleston, SC. She also held a wide variety of other positions at BIG DM radio station. In addition to her radio experience, Vernessa has four years administrative experience in various industries. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in journalism. Vernessa welcomes and directs visitors to the Municipal Association and the tenants maintaining office space at 1411 Gervais Street.
