Job Duties

Under general supervision, performs various administrative, secretarial, and clerical duties which are necessary for the effective operation of the Municipal Court and Town Hall operations.

Prepares, processes, maintains, files, and transmits all legal records, dockets, summonses, and other documents as necessary. Attend all court hearings and record the dispositions imposed by the Judge. Issues bench warrants and NRVC’s as necessary. Performs computer data entry to record and retrieve case and payment information and to prepare reports and correspondences.

Serves as the facilitator and ensures fluid communication with the Municipal Judge, ensuring seamless office operations. Provides information to Court related questions of the public, defendants, law offices, and Police Officers. Receives, reviews, prepares, and/or submits various pretrial notices, appeals requests, subpoenas, tickets, and other correspondences.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent with at least 3 years of administrative experience and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability.

 

 

Pay Info
$15 to $18/hr. DOQ
