Town Administrator, Town of Allendale
The Town of Allendale is seeking an energetic, proactive, ethical, community leader with strong communication skills and a team driven approach to serve as our next Town Administrator. The Town is the county seat of Allendale County and boasts a historic downtown with tremendous growth potential. Allendale is a Council Form of Government with a Mayor and 6 non-partisan council members, a $1,840,000 General Fund budget, a $2,640,000 water/sewer budget, and roughly 25 FTE. Departments include Business Licensing, Public Works and Police.
A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business administration, public administration, or related field and three to five years of related supervisory or administrative experience to include a background in budgeting/finance, human resources, grant administration, purchasing and strong communication skills. Master’s Degree preferred.
