WasteWater Utilities Tech I-IV, City of Anderson
The Utilities Technician is responsible for installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing the wastewater collection system and components, and performing related technical work as required.
Job Responsibilities: The Utilities Technician installs, maintains, and repairs wastewater systems, operates construction equipment, and ensures compliance with City standards.
Inspection and Customer Interaction: They inspect contractor work, respond to inquiries from customers and the public, and work on-call on a rotating basis.
Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid state driver’s license (CDL within 6 months), and the ability to progress through Wastewater Collection Certifications. Additional certifications like First Aid/CPR, trenching, and confined space are beneficial.
Dependent Upon Qualification. No Certification.
