Position Hours
Shift work-rotating two week schedule of day/nights (Days 5 a.m. - 5 p.m.) and (Nights 5 p.m. - 5 a.m.)
Job Duties
Patrols the city and responds to calls.
Enforces State of SC and local government laws including traffic enforcement.
Prepares written and detailed incident reports and investigation reports.
Qualifications
The City of New Ellenton is seeking a certified Class 1 Law Enforcement Officer. Must be at least twenty-one years old and have a valid SC driver's license. Must have at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to pass a background investigation, physical and drug screening, psychological evaluation, reading comprehensive exam.
