Responsible for developing, organizing and maintaining personnel files. Exercises responsibilities in performing related duties such as recording employee salary changes, recording voluntary deductions and changes, assisting in preparation of budget information. Responsible for verifying employees’ time sheets, annual and sick time prior to processing of payroll. Prepares various reports such as state and federal tax returns, retirement monthly and quarterly reports, state employment reports, W-2 forms, 1095-C forms, etc.
Serves Benefits Administrator. Receives, reviews and verifies medical bills, files insurance forms and worker’s compensation bills; prepares and processes terminations forms and COBRA letters. Administers the Town’s 125 Cafeteria Plan. Administers gas department drug policy, ensuring compliance with DOT guidelines and standards; administers Town drug program and physicals; coordinates and administers Town Blood borne Pathogen Program. Responsible for compiling necessary information for the Actuaries for GASB requirements and making the timely annual required contributions to SCORBET
Associate’s degree in Human Relations Management, Business or a related area, with one to two years of experience in personnel management or a related field; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
