6:00AM to 6:00PM, 12 Hr. shift rotation. Day Shift
Qualifications

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (A) Must be 21 years or older at the time of employment; (B) Must possess, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid SC Driver’s License without record of suspension or revocation in any state; (C) Successful completion of SC Criminal Justice Academy within six (6) months of hire; (D) Ability to meet Department’s physical standards. DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience. (A) High school diploma or GED equivalent. (B) Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: (A) Working knowledge of modern law enforcement principles, procedures, techniques, and equipment. (B) Skill in operating the tools and equipment listed below. (C) Ability to learn the applicable laws, ordinances, and department rules and regulations; Ability to perform work requiring good physical condition; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with subordinates, peers and supervisors; Ability to exercise sound judgment in situations and in making decision.

 

Pay Info
*New competitive salary base dependent on experience
$50,232 - $51,428 Annually for Certified Officer.
