Tony Deschamps Promoted to SCMIT Claims Manager
Tony DesChamps has been promoted to the position of SC Municipal Insurance Trust claims manager. Previously, DesChamps worked as a SCMIT claims analyst and senior claims adjuster with the Risk Management Services claims department.He has 30 years of experience as a workers' compensation claims adjuster. DesChamps obtained a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of South Carolina.

SC Municipal Insurance Trust Board Chair Phillip Mishoe
Elected Chairman in 2022, Phillip Mishoe has served on the SCMIT board for the past five years. He has been the town administrator for the Town of Central since 2005. He previously worked for the Charleston County Government, Charleston County Sheriff’s Office and Charleston County International Airport.

Mishoe is a graduate of Clemson University and obtained a Master of Public Administration from Valdosta State University. He also served in the United States Marine Corps. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Clemson, where he serves as sergeant at arms, and also serves on the Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce board and the Anderson Joint Water System board. In his spare time, Mishoe likes to golf, hunt, snow ski, hike and work out in the gym.
SCMIRF Board Chair Shaun Greenwood
Elected Chairman in 2020, Shaun Greenwood has served on the SC Municipal Insurance and Risk Financing Fund board for the past four years. He has been the city administrator for the City of Forest Acres since 2017. He also served as the assistant city manager for the City of Cayce from 2013 to 2017.

Greenwood is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Master of Public Administration. He is a member of the Solid Waste Advisory Committee for the state. He is an International City/County Management Association credentialed manager and a certified planner with the American Planning Association. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and golf, as well as fly fishing.
